CRM insights and recommended actions

How OrganizeOS surfaces data-driven suggestions from your contact database, and what to do with them.

On this page

CRM, then Insights scans your contact database and surfaces specific, actionable suggestions instead of requiring you to go looking for them. Each insight names a concrete group of contacts and a next step, so you can act directly instead of building a segment from scratch first.

Reading the page

Insights are grouped into three sections:

  • Needs Attention -- contacts likely disengaging, for example at-risk contacts with low engagement and no activity in 60+ days, or donors who haven't given in over a year.
  • Opportunities -- contacts ready for a next step, for example repeat donors who could be asked to convert to recurring giving, or engaged event attendees who haven't made a first donation yet.
  • Suggestions -- lower-urgency ideas, for example dedicated volunteers who may be ready for a leadership role, or highly engaged contacts who are unsubscribed from email and might prefer another channel.

An overview strip at the top totals how many contacts are analyzed and how many fall into opportunities versus needs-attention groups. Each individual insight card shows the number of contacts affected and a short explanation of why it was surfaced, with a link that opens the matching, pre-filtered contact list so you can act on it immediately. If nothing needs attention, the page tells you your database looks healthy instead of showing empty sections.

Why this matters

Recommended actions turn a database into a to-do list. Rather than every organizer independently deciding who to follow up with, Insights applies the same criteria across your whole contact base and points your team at the highest-value next actions -- reconnecting with people drifting away, converting engaged supporters into donors, and identifying volunteers ready to take on more.
