Your profile and account settings
Edit your personal info, claim a handle, manage account emails, and track invitations.
Your profile is the one identity that follows you across every organization you belong to. Open it from the menu in the bottom-left of the sidebar, under Profile.
Overview
The Overview tab shows your name, email, and when your account was created. Two things live here that are worth knowing about:
- Your connect link. A QR code and a short link (
/connect/<you>, or/@yourhandleonce you've claimed one) that anyone can use to connect with you. Share it in person or in a message. - Your handle. An optional
@handle, 3-30 characters, lowercase letters, digits, and underscores only. Claiming or changing it checks availability as you type. Once set, you can change it again after 30 days.
Underneath, Email addresses lets you add backup emails to your account. Each new address gets a verification email before it counts. You can have more than one verified email and choose which is your primary sign-in address — switching primaries asks for your password to confirm.
Personal info
The Personal info tab is where you edit your full name, display name, bio, phone number, and mailing address. None of this is required, but a phone number is what lets an organization text you event reminders, and your name and bio are what other members see on your profile.
Organizations
The Organizations tab lists every organization you're an active member of, along with your role in each. From here you can also create a new organization or find more organizations to join.
Invitations
The Invitations tab lists any pending invitations to join an organization, sent to your account's email address. Accepting or declining happens from this tab; the tab shows a badge with your invitation count so you don't miss one.
Why this matters
Everything here is shared across every organization you're part of — one name, one handle, one set of contact details. Keeping it accurate means organizers can reach you, other members can recognize you, and you never have to fill out the same information twice.
