Texting as a volunteer
Texting in the volunteer portal is being rebuilt. What changed and what still works in the meantime.

Texting is being rebuilt, so for now you can't text contacts from your organization's volunteer portal.
What changed
Texting no longer appears in the volunteer portal's sidebar, and texting campaigns no longer show up in My Tasks or on your volunteer dashboard. A link you saved to the texting page won't give you contacts to text. Your organization will let you know when volunteer texting opens again.
What still works
The rest of your volunteer work is unchanged. Shifts, canvassing walk lists and your hours are where they were; see My Tasks, My Hours, and the Leaderboard and canvassing as a volunteer.
