My Membership and Leadership
What you see about your own membership tier and dues, and who runs your organization.
Two sections in your org's member home cover your standing in the organization and the people who run it: My Membership and Leadership.
My Membership
Open My Membership to see your current tier: its name, description, any listed benefits, and whether it carries voting rights. If your dues have lapsed, benefits show as paused rather than disappearing outright.
If your tier has a price attached, a Dues section shows your status:
- Active, with when your membership renews (for recurring dues) or how long it's valid (for a one-time payment).
- If you pay recurring dues, you can Update card or Cancel dues here. Canceling doesn't end your membership immediately — it takes effect at the end of your current period, and you can Resume dues any time before then.
- If a payment failed, you'll see a note to update your card to recover your membership, along with the option to set it up again.
- If you haven't set up dues yet and your tier has a price, you'll see the available options (monthly, annual, or one-time) to start paying.
Below that, Membership details shows when you joined and your current status. A Leave organization button at the bottom removes your member access — you can rejoin later, but leaving isn't undone automatically. If you rejoin by requesting to join, you come back as a member; any admin access you had before has to be granted again by the owner. The organization's owner can't leave until they transfer ownership to someone else.
Leadership
Open Leadership to see who runs your organization and who works for it. The list is in two groups: Leadership (the owners and admins) and Organizers and staff (organizers, people in custom roles, and staff). Search by name or location. Each person's card shows their name, their role, and their location if they've shared one; your own card is marked (You).
Select a person's card to see more: their bio (if they've written one) and when they joined the organization. The list does not include every member, and it never shares anyone's phone number or email address.
The older Directory link opens the same Leadership page.
On the mobile app
Both sections are in the OrganizeOS app. Open the menu from any screen in your organization's member space and choose Membership, Leadership, Events or Volunteering; the same items sit on the member home.
- Membership shows your tier, its benefits, whether your dues are current, and when you joined, in the same words as the web. Setting up dues, changing a card, and canceling or resuming still happen on the web: the app's Set up dues and Manage dues open that page for you. Leave organization is at the bottom, with the same confirmation.
- Leadership is the same list as on the web, in the same two groups, with search by name or location. Tap a person to see their role, location, bio, and when they joined.
- Events in the same menu lists your organization's upcoming events and, under Going, the ones you have responded to. Tap an event to RSVP.
- Volunteering, in the same menu when your organization runs a volunteer program, gathers your shifts, your assigned walk lists for that organization, and links to the tasks, hours and leaderboard pages on the web. Phone banking and texting are being rebuilt and have no links for now.
Why this matters
My Membership is the one place that shows your tier, your benefits, and whether your dues are current — useful before you ask an organizer "am I still active?" Leadership tells you who to ask: who owns and administers the organization, who organizes, and who is on staff, with a face and a location for each. Together they answer the two questions every member eventually asks: "where do I stand?" and "who runs this?"
