Making a donation

How to give to an organization or campaign and find your giving history.


Many organizations on OrganizeOS raise money to fund their work. You can give to a campaign or cause directly from a public donation page — you do not need an account to donate, though having one keeps your giving history in one place.

How to donate

  1. Open the organization's donation or fundraiser page (often shared by email, text, or social media).
  2. Choose an amount, or enter your own.
  3. Decide whether to give once or to set up a recurring monthly gift.
  4. Enter your payment details and confirm.

Payments are processed securely. You will receive a confirmation for your records.

One-time vs recurring gifts

A one-time gift is charged once. A recurring gift repeats automatically (usually monthly) until you cancel it. Recurring support is the most valuable kind for most organizations because it lets them plan ahead.

Finding your donation history

If you have an account, your giving history appears in your member dashboard so you can see what you have given, to whom, and when. This is helpful at tax time and for keeping track of your recurring gifts.

Questions about a charge

If you have a question about a specific donation — a refund, a duplicate charge, or canceling a recurring gift — contact the organization you gave to directly. They manage their own donor records and can help with refunds and changes.
