Creating a fundraising page

How to set up a public donation page, share it, and manage the money you raise.

Fundraising pages are public pages supporters use to give to your organization or a specific cause. The goal is to make giving as frictionless as possible.

Creating a page

In the workspace, open Fundraising (or Pages) and create a donation page. Set a title, a short description of what the money supports, and suggested amounts. You can also enable recurring (monthly) giving — recurring donors are the most valuable kind because they let you plan ahead.

Sharing the page

Once published, the page has a public URL anyone can open and give through — donors do not need an OrganizeOS account. Share it by email, SMS, social media, or link it from a canvasser's materials. The faster a supporter can go from "I want to help" to "done," the more you raise.

Donations flow into your CRM

Every donation automatically creates or updates a contact in your CRM. That means your donor list, your member list, and your volunteer list are the same list — you can immediately see that a donor also attended an event or volunteered, and target accordingly.

Managing donors and transactions

From the workspace you can see your donor list and full transaction history, export reports for compliance, and handle refunds. Members see their own giving history on the platform side.

Fees and compliance

A transaction fee applies to donations, and any payment-processor fees are deducted at the transaction level so the amounts you see are transparent. If your organization is a political committee, keep your reporting requirements in mind — export the donor and transaction reports you need for filings.

Refunds and changes

You can issue a refund from the transaction record in the workspace. If a donor asks to cancel a recurring gift, you can manage that from their record as well.
